FIVE PSYCHIATRY JOKES TO MAKE YOU SMILE

I feel a bit miserable emotionally from being in intense pain physically but since I allowed myself one day earlier this week to have a pity party, I’m going to try to not whinge too much more about it. Instead, here are five psychiatry jokes, just to bring a smile to your face and mine.

Psychiatrist to his receptionist: “Please! When patients ask how the day is going, just say we’re very busy. Don’t keep telling everyone ‘It’s a madhouse!’.

Q. How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb?
A. Just one, so long as the light bulb really wants to change.

Q. How do you tell the difference between psychiatrists and patients in a psychiatric hospital?
A. The patients get better and leave.

An elevator walks into a psychiatrist office and says “Hey Doc, I think I’m out of control”. The Doctor replies “You’re an elevator, in your line of work you are going to have your ups and downs!”.

I don’t suffer from being insane. I enjoy every moment of it!

I hope these bring a smile to your face no matter what you are strugging with today. No offense intended to anyone struggling with mental health issues, I find having a sense of humor about my life helps me personally. We all need to have a laugh from time to time.
